After graduating in Criminology, Becca is undertaking a full apprenticeship as a Private Detective
Having just completed a Criminology degree at Winchester University during COVID-19, I felt uncertain as to what career path I wanted to pursue whilst the world started opening back up post-pandemic
I began two weeks work experience here before joining the team as an apprentice. No day was the same during my work experience, one day consisted of serving legal documents whereas the next I was in a swimming pool with a camera capturing the reconstruction of a crime scene, which highly tested how long I can hold my breath for!
I can confidently say that my enjoyment during work experience is the reason I was so persistent on staying on with the team and I was thrilled to be offered the apprenticeship role. Not only is the job unpredictable and certainly not a normal 9-5 job, the team are incredibly welcoming and put their faith and trust in you right from the beginning, which inevitably helped increase my self-confidence and erase any self-doubt
After only two months I was asked to work in France for a client which goes to show that no day is the same here and opportunities can come out of nowhere!
